Each year The Leighton Project holds an open-day in May for anyone interested in finding out more about the college.

The Rt hon. Hilary Armstrong MP, Minister for Cabinet Office and Social Exclusion, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, recently visited the Leighton Project as part of National Volunteers Week on the 7th June 2007 and helped our students make vegetable shepherd's pie!
"I had the privilege of spending a few hours at the Elfrida Rathbone project recently" she said. "The positive and caring atmosphere created by staff was very impressive, clearly demonstrated in the great relationship between staff and clients. Projects like this that offer highly tailored services to vulnerable people are extremely important and I offer my wholehearted support and best wishes to everyone involved with Elfrida Rathbone."
