Parents & Co
Parenting can be very difficult at times and is made more so when parents have little or no support.
Parents & Co supports families in Camden in two ways: providing home-based, individual support and by running a number of different parent support groups and courses:
- Parent support groups for parents of pre-school children
- Drop-ins for parents of pre-school children
- Programmes for parents
- ‘Our Group’ - a support group for parents with learning difficulties
- After-school group for children aged 7 11 years
- Home visits by Family Development Workers
Other groups organised by the project include long-running support for parents with learning difficulties and a children's group for seven to 11 year olds. Groups run in term-time only but there is also a programme of activities during the summer holidays.
Parents & Co can be accessed by any parent living in the London Borough of Camden.
