SEN Advocacy: Common Problems
- Is your child having problems at school?
- Are you unhappy with the way things are going for your child at school? What can you do about it?
- Do you need support finding out what help is available and how best to get this help?
- Do you think your child may have special educational needs? This may include dyslexia, autism, mobility issues, learning difficulties, social, emotional, behavioural or any other issue that may be affecting your child's schooling.
- Do you want help with the “statementing” process?
- Do you need support writing letters to or attending meetings with your child’s school or local authority?
- Do you want to complain about a decision that has been made about your child’s education or appeal against one?
