SEN SOLUTIONS is an Advocacy service that offers free information and advice to parents of children between age 2-19 who have special educational needs or disabilities who are at risk of, or have been, excluded from school either on a fixed term or permanent basis. SEN Advocacy is part of a voluntary organisation that offers support to families under stress and is independent of Local Authority control.
We offer a telephone, e-mail and a face to face service. We are open from 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday. We can arrange meetings in our offices or can set up a meeting closer to your home, or your child's school at a time convenient to you. We run drop-in sessions on Friday mornings in Camden. We can arrange interpreting services if required.
The SEN Advocacy Service is presently only accepting enquiries/referrals from families of children living in Camden. Please see the next section for information about current referrals.
The SEN Advocacy Service is currently experiencing a back log on the waiting list and is therefore unable to take any new referrals at this time. A message will be taken and passed on, however only the most urgent cases with deadlines will be responded to, and any other referrals will be recorded and contacted within three weeks.
