Senior Fundraising Manager – Elfrida Rathbone Camden

Elfrida Rathbone Camden is a vibrant charity which over 30 years has developed innovative and successful ways to achieve positive change for families, young disabled people and adults with a learning disability.

We are at an exciting time in our history of helping people in Camden and North London to realise their potential and contribute to their community. We want to continue to expand, develop and sustain our effective service delivery models for work with families, social action for young disabled people and advocacy support for people who face immense barriers in getting their needs and choices heard. We have created the new post of Senior Fundraising Manager to help us increase the people we can reach through our services and to make sure we work in ways which are most relevant to today’s needs. Through this post we are investing in our future. We will review the success of this post over the first 12 months and subject to funding, our aim is to continue and develop the role.

  • Working Hours: 21 hours per week including some evening and weekend work – ERC operates a TOIL scheme
  • Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 pro rata
  • Location: Camden
  • Post: Reporting directly to the Director of ERC
  • No direct reports

Part-time Administrative Assistant (fixed term contract)

Elfrida Rathbone Camden is a charity that works to support independence, empowerment and involvement in the community for disabled people, children and young people, parents and families. Our services include family support, disability awareness training and social and educational opportunities for young people with learning disabilities. We currently seek a skilled and enthusiastic administrator to support our work.

  • Working Hours: 21 hours (3 days) per week – days to be negotiated
  • Salary: £21,119 per annum pro rata
  • Location: Camden
  • Post: Administrative Assistant (fixed term contract until 31st March 2018)
  • Responsible to: Finance and Admin Manager
  • Closing date: 12pm on Wednesday 28th June 2017
  • Interviews: To be held on Friday 30th June 2017

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and will have excellent communication, IT and keyboard skills, the ability to communicate effectively and prioritise tasks.

This role will involve:

  • answering the phones, main entry buzzer and responding to office e-mails
  • providing administrative support to the Director and Finance and Admin Manager
  • maintaining office systems
  • purchasing of office supplies and equipment
  • working to support project staff where and when required
  • answering room hire queries and making bookings
  • supporting HR procedures
