High Speed 2 in Camden Family Support Project is a service offering support to families in Camden with multiple needs and children aged 0-18 years old affected by the construction of the High Speed 2 (HS2) railway which is being constructed between Euston and Birmingham.
As well as support from a Family Worker, families can also quickly be linked with a Citizens Advice Camden worker for support with their finances, accommodation or benefits. The rail line works will indirectly affect most areas of the borough due to increased lorry journeys for a number of years, but families who live, work, study or travel through the following wards may be particularly affected by the works: Regents Park, St Pancras and Somers Town, Camden Town with Primrose Hill, Haverstock, Belsize, Swiss Cottage, Kilburn and South Hampstead.
High Speed 2 in Camden Family Support Project is a service supported by Camden Giving which can help local families in a range of ways. These include finding the best sources of support for children and parents with disabilities, homelessness, unemployment, benefits, parenting support, help around children’s education, improving family relationships and wellbeing, and volunteering opportunities for parents to become Community Connectors.
